Peter Jurmala is an architect and photographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. His photographic work is rooted in the landscape of the daily environment, whether urban or natural.
Much of the work is documentary, the compositions are often straightforward, and the focus is on the effect of light on surfaces, the juxtapostion of forms, or the painterly composition of views. Often it is something familiar, but seen in a new perspective, snapshots filtered through an architectural lens.
